ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस हम सब के लिए बहुत ही जरूरी डॉक्यूमेंट बन चुका है। किसी भी वाहन चलाने वाले व्यक्ति को रजिस्ट्रेशन सर्टिफिकेट और बीमा के कागजों के साथ ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस होना बहुत जरूरी है। यह लाइसेंस आपको देश के किसी भी कोने में सार्वजनिक सड़कों पर गाड़ी चलाने की छूट देता है। ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस 20 साल या 50 वर्ष की उम्र तक की वैद्यता के साथ आता है। किसी भी परेशानी से बचने के लिए ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस खत्म होने से पहले उसे रिन्यू करा लेना चाहिए। सड़क परिवहन और राजमार्ग मंत्रालय ने इसी साल मार्च के महीने में नोटिफिकेशन जारी कर बताया था कि RTO से जुड़ी 18 तरह की सेवाएं अब ऑनलाइन मिलेंगी। इनमें ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस का रिन्युअल भी शामिल था। इसके बाद से लोगों को ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस रिन्यू कराने के लिए RTO के चक्कर काटने की जरूरत नहीं है। आप घर बैठे अपना ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस रिन्यू करा सकते हैं।

फॉर्म 1(आम गाड़ियों के लिए) या फिर फॉर्म 1A (ट्रांसपोर्ट कार्य के लिए)

कब करें आवेदन
परिवहन सेवा के अनुसार लाइसेंस खत्म होने से एक महीने तक रिन्युअल के लिए आवेदन किया जा सकता है। अगर लाइसेंस की समाप्ति के 5 साल बाद आप रिन्युअल के लिए आवेदन करते हैं तो आपको फिर से पूरी प्रक्रिया से गुजरना होगा। वहीं, अगर आपने लाइसेंस खत्म होने से पहले या खत्म होने के बाद एक महीने के अंदर रिन्युएल के लिए अप्लाई किया है तो आपका नया लाइसेंस उसी दिन से शुरू होगा, जब से पिछला लाइसेंस खत्म हुआ है। अगर आपने लाइसेंस खत्म होने के एक महीने बाद रिन्युअल के लिए आवेदन दिया है तो जिस दिन आप आवेदन करेंगे उस दिन से आपका नया लाइसेंस बनाया जाएगा।
कैसे करें ऑनलाइन आवेंदन
परिवहन सेवा की आधिकारिक वेबसाइट (link- https://parivahan.gov.in/.) पर जाकर Online Services, का विकल्प चुनें। अब driving license-related services पर क्लिक करें। अब आप नए पेज पर आ जाएगें। यहां आपको अपना राज्य चुनना है। राज्य के चुनाव के बाद आप नए पेज पर आ जाएंगे। यहां ‘Apply for DL Renewal’ का विकल्प चुनें। अब आपको कई निर्देश दिए जाएंगे और जरूरत पड़ने पर कुछ डॉक्यूमेंट्स भी मांगे जा सकते हैं। कुछ राज्यों में आपसे फोटो और हस्ताक्षर भी मांगे जा सकते हैं। अब फीस भर दें और अपनी पेमेंट वेरिफाई करा लें। अब रसीद का प्रिंटआउट निकाल लें। भविष्य में जरूरत पड़ने पर यह काम आ सकता है।
