नई दिल्ली: भारत सरकार ने एक बार फिर चाइनीज एप्स पर डिजिटल स्ट्राइक कर दी है। इसके तहत 118 चाइनीज एप्स को इंडिया में बैन कर दिया गया है। खास बात यह है कि इस लिस्ट में दुनिया के मोस्ट पॉपुलर गेम्स में शुमार पबजी को भी बैन कर दिया गया है। हालांकि पबजी कोरियन गेम मेकर्स की ओर से डवलप किया गया है, लेकिन गेम के मोबाइल वर्जन को चाइना की टेनसेंट कंपनी ने बनाया है। यही वजह है कि आखिरकार पबजी को लेकर भी डिजिटल स्ट्राइक कर दी गई है।
इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स और सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्रालय को कुछ मोबाइल ऐप के दुरुपयोग और यूजर्स के डेटा को अनधिकृत तरीके से उन सर्वरों पर प्रसारित करने के लिए कई शिकायतें मिली हैं, जिनके सर्वर भारत से बाहर हैं।
भारतीय साइबर अपराध समन्वय केंद्र, गृह मंत्रालय ने भी इन ऐप्स को बैन करने के लिए एक संपूर्ण सिफारिश भेजी है। मंत्रालय की ओर से कहा गया है कि यह कदम करोड़ों भारतीय मोबाइल और इंटरनेट उपयोगकर्ताओं के हितों की रक्षा करेगा।
मंत्रालय का कहना है कि भारत की संप्रभुता और अखंडता, भारत की रक्षा और राज्य की सुरक्षा के हित में संप्रभु शक्तियों का उपयोग करते हुए, भारत सरकार ने मोबाइल और गैर-मोबाइल इंटरनेट सक्षम उपकरणों में उपयोग किए जाने वाले कुछ ऐप्स के उपयोग को बैन करने का निर्णय ले लिया है।
